Visioneers is an organization that assists young refugees in becoming accustom to life in Berlin. They offer assistance in the form of German classes, homework help, sewing workshops and much more.
Visioneers is a purely non-for-profit organization. They rely on private grants and donations to keep their programs running. This video will help the organization earn funding for their many projects by showing what they do and why. I'm glad I was able to support their cause and I really enjoyed working with these young refugees and the many volunteers, as well.
"Tabadul" is the Arabic word for exchange. It is also the name of a unique organization that provides an opportunity for just that: Exchange! Tabadul organizes a multitude of projects that center around the support of native Arabic-speakers in Germany and offering information about the Arabic-speaking world to other residents and citizens of Germany. In the last five years, the country has graciously accepted over half a million people escaping war in the middle east. However, adjusting to a brand new life in a new country is not easy.
